The Grand Finale of Confident Group Sponsored "Super Star Global" was witnessed by an invited audience of nearly 5000 persons at Trivandrum's Nishagandhi Open Air Auditorium in a dazzling set with a star-studded audience on April 5th 2008 from 6.30 PM and telecast Live Worldwide.

The four-hour Finale consisted of a gala entertainment programme which was intersperse with competing performances of the three final contestants and the celebrities from the field of music, cinema and performing arts besides clients, media and opinion leaders. The winner of this contest would drive home in the Mercedes Benz, sponsored by Confident Group.

The reality show witnessed a gamut of interesting segments like Romance Round, Viewers Request, Celebrations Round, Duet Round, Remix Round, Vani Jayaram Special, Fusion, Medley, Judge’s Choice, Celebrity Pick, Dance Numbers, Non-Filmy Songs, and Performance Round.

In a nail-biting triangular contest which was telecast Live with simultaneous SMS Scores from audiences worldwide, Amrita TV's music reality show, ”Super Star Global", climaxed on April 5th with Ms. Rupa winning the Mercedes Benz.

Confident Group's Chairman and Managing Director-Dr. Roy C.J, gave the key of the Mercedes Benz to "Super Star Global" Contest 1st Price Winner Ms.Rupa.

The 2nd Prize-Winner at "Super Star Global" was Mr.Jeetu, from Mumbai, while the third place went to Ms.Tina, hailing from Calicut.

The journey of "Super Star Global" started with auditions of over 20,000 aspirants in India, USA, UK and UAE, from which 21 contestants were short listed for competing in this show. Commencing in July 2007, the talent hunt ran for over a year, five days a week on Amrita TV.

The Chief Guest was noted singer Vani Jayaram who also performed at the grand finale. The four-hour live telecast show was intersperse with entertaining performances by musicians like M.Jayachandran, Unni Menon, Gayatri, George Peter, Chitra Iyer, Shan, Keyboardist Stephen and all the contestants of "Super Star Global".

During the show a donation of Rs.One Lakh was presented to a family from Malappuram District, where all the four children are mentally retarded with a disabled father, with no means for livelihood. "Amrita News", the round-the clock news division of the channel, had carried a moving story about this impoverished family under its ongoing public service news campaign" You Too Can Make A Difference" requesting viewers to help. An amount of Rs. 1 Lakh which had been collected under this campaign was handed over to the mother of the children on the stage of "Super Star Global" by the Minister of Water Resources, Government of Kerala. Confident Group's Chairman and Managing Director-Dr.Roy C.J, continuing his philanthropic activities has extended his whole hearted support on humanitarian gesture by announcing a donation of Rs.One Lakh on behalf of Confident Group to the same distressed family. Everybody appreciated and gave a standing ovation to our Chairman and Managing Director's good gesture.
