It was really a grand show in Kochi to the prestigious “Confident Group Asianet TV Awards 2008” at the Ambedkar Grounds on 9th of March, 2008. The auditorium was packed with an enthusiastic crowd who were eagerly awaiting for their dear and near stars who come to their homes daily through their favourite TV shows.

The program started exactly at 6:30 PM. Awards were given for different categories. Continuing the legacy, Confident Group were the main sponsors of the event for the consecutive year.

The greatest applause was when Super Star Dileep arrived at the venue. He graced the evening with his usual charm and charismatic appearance and had the audience in raptures with his short and sweet speech. Dileep gave away the Best Actress award and the cash award was presented by Mr Gaffar P Kandy, Director International, Confident Group. Mr. T.A.Joseph ,Director Kerala Operations,Confident Group gave away the Best Actor award.

The entire event was a celebration with super dance performances by famous Cine and Television artists. The other major attractions were the beautiful song feast by famous singers.
