Confident Airlines India Ltd a subsidiary of Confident Group had the Blessing Ceremony and First Maiden Flight of their brand new aircraft - P 68C, at Jakkur Air Field on 17th February 2008
at 9.30 AM.
Media personalities from both print and electronic media, well wishers, key members of the Confident Group and other dignitaries graced this memorable occasion with their presence.
The P 68C, is an Italian designed, 6 seat High-Wing Twin Piston Engine Aircraft, ideally suited for operations under Indian conditions. It requires minimal maintenance and has excellent performance characteristics with fixed tricycle landing gear and fully movable tail.
It is equipped for all weather flying, with state - of - the - art Avionics, Instruments and Navigational Aids including Colour Weather Radar, Autopilot and GPS etc.
The maiden flight took off from Jakkur Air Field with the CMD on board. The blessing ceremony was conducted by Rev.Dr.Mathew Koikara, the Parish Priest of St.Thomas Forane Church, Bangalore. After the maiden flight, the CMD said he enjoyed the experience of flying in the P68c.
