Mr.Roy C.J., CMD, Confident Group selected as the Winner of UGMA Global Businessman Millennium Award

We are very happy to announce that UGMA has selected Mr.Roy.C.J, Chairman and Managing Director Confident Group as the winner of UGMA GLOBAL BUSINESS MAN MILLENNIUM AWARD.

The award winner is selected through a global gallop poll from the best businessman engaged in India and Abroad. UGMA has selected Mr.Roy.C.J, as the BUSINESS MAN OF THE MILLENNIUM.The award honour ceremony will be conducted during the UGMA's INDIA FESTIVAL celebrations on 13,14,15 October,2007 at Bochum,Germany.

	It has been a journey of discovery and success for Mr. Roy C.J., Chairman and Managing Director of Confident Group. He explored new frontiers and transcended boundaries in his business. Over a short period of time he has covered a lot of ground and crossed milestones. His long-term vision, dynamism and innovative attitude have made him create the Confident Group, a diversified conglomerate with its focus on Right Infrastructure, Endearing Hospitality, Soaring Aviation and Delightful Entertainment, Scholarly Education and Caring Healthcare.

With his foray into the Real Estate Industry in the last ten years, Mr. Roy conceptualized and started the Confident Group. The group's focus is on quality, growth and a zero deviation policy has helped us to overcome many hurdles to set us on the road of rapid progress. By managing a team of highly skilled engineers and architects he has built extensive experience in the construction industry. Over 320 employees work for him in the Group, with over 60% having an engineering background. The innovative intuition of Roy helped Confident Group to launch Confident Project (India) Limited, Confident Resorts and Retreats India Limited, Confident Airlines India Limited, Confident Entertainments India Limited, Esteem Building Technology and Confident Contracting Company LLC in Dubai. Confident Group has operations in Bangalore, Kochi.,Trivandrum,Dubai,Singapore and UK.

Roy, a Bangalorean by birth graduated in Mechanical Engineering and also possesses an MBA from ENPC (Paris). Early in his career, he gained a tremendous amount of corporate experience working with some leading corporate groups like Hewlett-Packard, TVS and BPL. He also has over a decade of experience in managing resorts being the Joint Managing Director of a leading Home Building Company in Bangalore.

Mr. Roy also trained as a magician under MC Sorcar and has performed numerous magic shows. He also actively involved in social and cultural activities.
