In the last few weeks, Confident Star Singer has witnessed moments of excitement through tears, joy, heartbreaks, jubilation, learning, advice and achievements. Soon the rising levels of viewer delirium often ended in sudden outburst of feelings via telephones and through SMS.

Rocketing up the charts Confident Star Singer continued their voyage, to bring into limelight the nations new and unknown singing sensation of tomorrow.

Asianet Suvarna`s hot music event got hotter by every airing, better than ever, and gripping as the number of contestants came down to six. All the six contestants performed before the judges and an august & enthused audience, on 17 May 2009 at Dr. Rajkumar Floodlit Stadium, Confident Cascade, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore.

Like all reality shows on Asianet Suvarna, the program innovation and differentiation was the hallmark of 'Confident Star Singer', sponsored by Confident Group brand.

The program commenced in the evening and went on till late at night. Awards were handed out for different positions. Continuing the legacy, Confident Group were the main sponsors of the event.

The four-hour finale consisted of a gala entertainment program which was interspersed with compelling performances by the competing six finalists and performances by celebrities from the fields of music, cinema and other performing arts besides the clients, media and opinion leaders.

The reality show witnessed a gamut of interesting rounds like – Romance Round, Viewers Request, Celebrations Round, Duet Round, Remix Round, Fusion, Medley, Judge’s Choice, Celebrity Pick, Dance Numbers, Non-Filmy Songs and Performance Round.

The competitive spirit was fierce, through which Ms. Lakshmi Nagaraj came victorious to be adjudged as the Confident Star Singer. The second place was taken by Mr. Manoj, and the third place went to Mr. Nithin Shastry.

Ms. Lakshmi Nagaraj , the winner of this program became the proud owner of a Confident Group sponsored super luxury flat worth Rs. 40 Lakhs in Confident Althena. Chairman and Managing Director of Confident Group Dr. Roy C. J. handed over the keys of Ms. Lakshmi Nagaraj’s new home.

Other finalists were not discouraged either; rightly Dr. Roy C. J. announced three more prizes worth Rs. 3 lakh for each.
