The managers of Confident Group – project and hospitality division underwent training, conducted by Royal Sundaram Insurance, on January 16, 2010. Royal Sundaram Insurance is a Joint Venture between Sundaram Finance and RSA, one of the oldest insurance providers in the world. 
 
The session began with a brief introduction of the facilitators and overview of the program by Confident Group’s, Mr. Sundaram. The session was then taken over by the senior team from Royal Sundaram insurance, who gave us an overview of the coverage and exception areas of the insurance policy that would be applicable to the project and hospitality division of Confident Group. 

The second part of the presentation gave us an insight into the documentation procedures that are mandatory to obtain the policy claim in the event of any untoward incident. They effectively used specific case studies from real life incidents to communicate various key aspects of the policy.  

The third part of the presentation focused on giving us some useful tips and there by creating greater awareness in relation to the procedures involved while applying and updating the policy. They specified the need to interact with the liaison individual and between our company and Royal Sundaram Insurance in the event of any claim being initiated.  

The session came to end with the last part being dedicated to clarification of doubts associated with the various policy claims, their coverage, procedures involved and clarifications linked to previous policy claims. It witnessed active participation of the members and definitely went a long way in instilling greater clarity regarding the various key aspects of the Insurance Policy.
