The dawn of August 15th, 2010 was truly a special day of dual significance in the form celebration of 64th Independence day and Confident picnic. This witnessed the coming together of the entire Confident family after a period of 6 months. The mood in the buses was one of celebration which was prevalent throughout. On arrival at Confident Champion Reef, we were pleasantly surprised to view the march past by Confident Security guards which brought back memories of the parade on Independence day. Our Chairman and Managing Director, Dr. Roy C.J was the Guest of honour, who unfurled the Indian flag which rained in the spirit of independence day celebration. We then moved on to S.N Resort for breakfast and spending the morning session. A brief introductory note by our CEO, Mr. Sunil Krishnan and Dr. Roy C.J at the commencement of the General Body meeting was followed by distribution of the ‘Star Performer Awards’ for the first quarter. It was a moment of joy and recognition to the employees of Confident group for all their effort. The stage was then set for a short cultural programme that included dance performance and patriotic songs. Some light moments were also experienced by the audience while listening to some humour and mimicry. This was followed by Lunch and our transit back to Champion Reef. Our Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Gaffar was seen actively trying to get the staff to experience the beautiful venue and they were welcomed to trying their hand at playing golf
It was a mammoth task to get many of our staff to move on from golf to the finale of participating in team building activities organized. The team activities were successful in building a greater rapport and strengthening certain key skills such as coordination, planning, execution, collaboration and many more. Serving of refreshing Tea and Coffee along with snacks aided in revitalizing their energy after the activities. Everyone bid farewell for a quiet peaceful journey back home after a wonderful outing.
